All Classic Client versions on Microsoft Operating Systems
This exclamation mark means that Classic Client detects your smart card but does not recognize it.
First check that the SmartDiag tool is able to recognize the smart card by following this procedure: The SmartDiag tool displays "Unregistered Card".
If the SmartDiag tool does recognize your card then Classic Client may not be configured to support this smart card type. Contact your administrator to get a user setup of Classic Client that supports your card applet.
GPK cards were natively supported by the Classic Client administrator setup. In the latest versions of Classic Client a user setup needs to be created to support these cards.
