Can I implement a PC Link reader, i.e. a CT30, into a device (printer, etc), by connecting the chip contacts of the reader to an electrical personalization head using a wire?

This kind of implementation is not supported. Our readers are qualified to work with a direct contact between the reader and the chip. Deporting the chip contacts of the reader too much will have unpredictable effects on the clock and will lead to communication problems with the smart card. The solution is to implement a chipset instead of a reader in your printer.
